So I started Trinessa in Feb of this year. I have been on it and all has been going pretty good. But I've noticed during this month...I finished my period about 4 days ago and I have cramping today....

I get cramping every once in a while throughout my cycle since I've started Trinessa. But the one thing I noticed today. Is I felt the cramping. I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I noticed the lightest pink spot on the toliet paper - really light but still there.

I haven't had spotting before. It hasn't been there any other times while going to the bathroom so I'm not sure what's going on. Is the cramping normal? You're not suppose to ovulate on the pill so I don't get why I'm getting these cramps 4 days after my period ends. (I always take my pill at exactly the same time every day).

Before anything else, are you up-to-date with your basic GYN exams and - if you have been sexually active - your STI screenings? If so, all good on both, or any health issues that were found?

I got some when I got the birth control pills and all my health was good. Although I haven't got any screenings since I started having sex in March. My doctor said coming back every six months would be good.

Although today I noticed it wasn't really cramping - but more so muscle soreness. Like my back and ab area were sore. Although I went for a run yesterday after not running for a few weeks - so I'm thinking it may be that. Cause there's been no more pink spotting - just that one time.
