This is my second month taking Trinessa BCP. I have two days left before I start taking the sugar pills in my second month.
The first 'period' I had on BCP was only 2 days with 2 days of spotting and no PMS symptoms. But now before this one I've been having a bit of cramping. Nothing intense but still some cramping.
It's not pregnancy cramps is it? I've only had sex twice during this cycle of BCP. I used condoms both times and I always take my pill on time. One pill I did take 3.5 hours late. And another pill later in my cycle I took 1.5 hours late but besides that I've been taking in right at 2pm. The only reasons I was late with those was because I was out and didn't have my pills on me at the time.
But anyway - is this cramping just being PMS or is is a pregnancy symptom? I'm probably just being paranoid Posts: 25 | From: Vermont | Registered: Apr 2010

During your first few months on the pill, it's normal to have a bit of spotting throughout your cycle, as well as some funky PMS like symptoms.
It does not sound like you have a reason to worry here--what you've described sounds like normal adjustment to the pill.
