This might sound like a stupid question, but if something were growing in your anus, could it be noticed/felt through a bimanual (not rectovaginal) exam? I just had a pelvic exam today (no fingers went up my butt though) and this question occurred to me. Like, is the perineum/anus even superficially looked at without the doctor actually putting a finger in your butt?
