Hi, me again. In science atm we're doing sexual education but I didn't want to ask this there..
I'm curious.. if I ever decide to have sex in the future (while the thought repulses me now it may not in the future?) will it hurt? I mean, after what happened.. I've heard that a girls first time hurts, but it wouldn't be my first time technically right..? I'm really confused still :S
So yeah, if you kind of understand what I'm asking..
Penetrative sexual activities can sometimes cause pain for the woman. However, that's not necessarily connected to how many times a woman has had sex, but rather how relaxed and aroused she is during the sex. The vagina is a muscle, and when a woman is aroused, the vagina expands and lubricates. Now, if someone is completely relaxed, using lots of extra lube, and with a partner who is mindful of their needs and goes slowly, then it's likely not going to be painful at all.
What may happen is that the experience of having been raped can make it a little harder for you to relax in the beginning, and that you might have to give yourself a little extra time until you feel completely comfortable with a partner. But these are things that we can't predict, so you'll have to wait and see how it goes.
