I finished ovulating a few days ago but my cervix is still pretty soft and high, is that a sign of something bad?

How do you know you've ovulated? Have you been charting via basal temps & cervical mucus as well?

Dorey, I think this might help you out: http://www.gardenoffertility.com/cervix.shtml

Ultimately, if you are JUST starting to observe your cervical position and other fertility signals, it's so important that you realize you'll need to do that for months before you have a good idea of what's what. Until then, it doesn't make a lot of sense to put a lot of stock in a few observations. Generally, the cervix is soft and high with ovulation, but it doesn't change radically right afterwards: it's a very gradual movement back.

(Incidentally, are you using two accounts here? if so, that's not kosher with our guidelines. Any individual needs to have and use only one.)

No I judged by the cervical mucus leading up which increased until I had ewcm and my cervix was open. Is it a bad thing that my cervix is still pretty high and soft 2 days after ovulation?

It's okay, we just need you to use one, not two. [Smile]
