Hi Scarleteen,

I am going camping for four days this week, and it is going to be very hot outside. I don't want to risk the effectiveness of my pills from the heat, so I was thinking of popping four of the out of their case and taking them with me in a pill bottle so I don't have to take the whole pack and risk damage to the whole pack. My question is, does taking the pills out of their pack and leaving them like that for a few days damage them/does the packaging offer some kind of protection (besides them getting wet, etc)? Should I even worry about this, and just take the whole pack with me?

It's really up to you if you take the whole pack or not. I would say if you want to take them in a seperate bottle, make sure to take an extra pill just in case something happens. Tons of people take pills out and put them into a pill box marked by the days of the week to remember to take them all, and it won't hurt them to be put in another pill bottle for a few days.
