Ive been on birth control since July of 08 and starting in October ive been getting this creamy white dischagre when im on my 3rd week of pills and right before i get on my period. It doesnt smell or itch. It usually comes when im sexually aroused but i havent participated in vaginal sex since July. I have already been tested for STD's in August.

My question is: Is this common? and Why does it happen?

thanks!!
Starr.

Discharge happens. As long as it doesn't smell fishy or has a wierd colour or texture, it's perfectly fine. The amount of discharge and when it shows up is linked to hormones, and as your hormones are all over the place during puberty, it's not unusual for discharge to vary.
