So, I've been masturbating since I was about fifteen, maybe younger. I've come to know my body pretty well and have experimented with some stuff so I know what feels good for me and what doesn't. I've never been able to orgasm, but it never really mattered to be, I just figured it would happen when my body was ready.

So just recently I entered my first relationship. We're taking it slow, but one thing we do is he rubs his leg against my (clothed) vulva. Even through jeans, it feels really good, better even than anything I've been able to do while masturbating.

But sometimes, it will start to feel painful, just out of nowhere. It feels kind of like all the pleasure receptors there just shut off so all I can feel is the pain receptors. I thought the first time it happened it was just that he was at the wrong angle, but even if he's basically rubbing my clitoris, which normally feels so good my brain shuts down, all it does is hurt.

When this happens, we stop and take a breather and then after five or ten minutes if we try again it doesn't hurt anymore.

I'm really confused. Do you know of anything that might cause this sensation?

Hey Crystelle- welcome to Scarleteen.

I'm not a doctor, is it possible that the layers of clothing rubbing against your vulva is the source of the pain? You mention jeans, and denim really isn't the softest fabric in the world.

It's also possible that the area is simply being overstimulated.
