Okay, so Ive looked everywhere to see if I can find out what this is, but I cant so I was wondering if you could help.
For the past few days, I've felt sort of an itch around my vagina. It isnt constant, or particularly aggressive, and I dont have any strange discharge at all, so Im at a loss as to what could be causing it (also, lice are definitely not the cause, just so you know).
It's hard to describe, but i guess its more externa, than internal, like at the opening as opposed to right inside it, but since I dont have weird discharge or anything I thought maybe it could be to do with being too dry? Like maybe I could have affected the HP balance or something and that could be making it itchy?
It's not painful, just an annoyance and Im starting college next week so I would like to have it figured out before then.
Have you used any creams, powders, scented lotions, new soaps, douched, anything that could have irritated the skin?
Try, for the time being, avoiding any contact with scented products, soaps, etc. Use mild cleansers, wear roomy cotton undies, avoid tight, constricting pants/shorts, etc. If the itching persists, try a topic cortisone cream, which can be found in any drugstore or grocery store. If the itching persists or gets worse, contact your doctor.
