After having trouble with tampons for a few years, I finally went to the GYN and found out I have vaginismus. I can't seem find any way of fixing it, and it's starting to become frustrating. My boyfriend even offered to help by means of fingering, but my body TOTALLY rejected any penetration. I've been doing kegel exercises for a long time, but I feel as if that's made my condition even worse (my PC muscles now tense up whenever I feel aroused). Are there any solutions I can look into?

Has your gyn talked with you about what the diagnosis means and what your treatment options are? What treatments have you tried?

The GYN recommended I simply try and insert my finger, and I've tried multiple times, with little success and lots of pain. I've heard of dialators but I've also heard they can be pretty expensive.

I guess I'm just wondering how I can relax my PC muscles.

Thanks for the articles. Some of the info was good to know. :]
