hi, I'm currently on bc sesonique but my doc recently prescibed me an antibiotic for a bladder infection and the pills can have an effect on the effectiveness of the BC (as stated on the bottle) so tonight my bf and i had sex and before we put the condom on we had intercorse for not even a min. But we did kinda rub a little bit before. So i was just wondering what my preg. risks are. I still have been taking my BC regularly and i have only been on the antiiotics for two days. We did however use the condom for the rest of the time and he finished with the condom on. We both have been tested for STD's and i have been recenty tested for STI's as well.
And recently i have been experiencing a lot of break through bleeding with the pill so afterwards i did notice i was bleeding a little bit, we have been having sex for a while now so is that anything to be concerned about? (I do understnad that break through bleeding or spotting is a side effect of sesonique.)

Sometimes volunteers aren't always available when a user first posts, panther, especially at odd hours.
I'd say that your risks here are minimal. Antibiotics can interfere with the pill's effectiveness, but them eradicating all effectiveness completely, or them doing so immediately is not what I understand to occur. Basically, I'd kind of consider this a combination of the perfect use rate of withdrawal and the typical use rate of the pill, which would mean you still had around a 98% effectiveness. I'd still use condoms for all contact for the rest of your pill cycle though (until you get to a new pill pack).
The breakthrough bleeding is likely because you're on a continuous use pill. That's very common when doing that.
