Hi. I've decided that I just can't deal with the risks of getting pregnant, and so my boyfriend and I have decided not to have sex anymore. Is there any drawback to stopping my pills midpack? I have one week left, but I'd rather not wait so I can get my cycle back on track as soon as possible. This is only my fourth month on the pill. Thanks!

It'll be easier for you to get your cycle back on track to just wait until the end of this cycle. If you've only got a week left, really, than just finish that up and don't start up a new pack. Stopping mid-pack can make things more wonky than simply waiting.
