This might be random but yesterday my boyfriend and I were hanging out. We weren't "doing" anything but for about the three hours I could see that he was pretty aroused. I mean he was like that for a long time and I asked him if it hurt and he said no and that he was immune to blue balls. Is that even possible? He has a varicocele, does that have something to do with it? Or do I just not arouse him that much? I know its random but I was just curious.

Maybe he experiences some discomfort as most people do, but just doesn't whine about it or amplify it into some big deal.
It is a sensation that usually will pass pretty quickly, and not often the huge hysteria it's made out to be.

As an added note, if he was aroused more or less constantly for three hours while you weren't "doing" anything i.e. direct physical stimulation of his genitals, it's a good bet that you do "arouse him that much". :-)
