Hey. I have a small concern cause I still haven't gotten my period. I am 14 years old and I turn 15 January 18th. All my friends have there period and when I tell them I don't, they tell me that's not normal =[ I have been having discharge pretty bad for the last year and a half to 2 years. Could this mean somthing?

We all mature at our own pace, and some girls get their periods earlier than others. At 14, you're still pretty young, so the fact that you're not menstruating yet isn't anything to worry about. You're completely normal.

I'm also wondering about this myself...not for me my younger sister. She is 13 and doesn't have her period yet, which now I know is normal. But I heard once that the later you get your period, the more dangerous it is or somethingm like that? My friends mom didn't get her first period until she was 18. Is this true at all?

Dangerous in what way? Getting your period a bit later is not a problem at all. If you're turning 16, 17 without a period, it could be worth it to check in with a doc just to be on the safe side, but there is really nothing dangerous about being a little late to start menstruating. And 13 or 14 is really not even on the late side at all yet.
