But, I've never found myself in need of EC, so I'm not exactly sure if EVERY pharmacy (for example,EVERY Wallgreens or CVS)carries it.
A dear friend of mine is in need, and I really don't feel like bouncing around from place to place to help her locate it.
I realize that with current legislation, that EC *should* be available over the counter to anyone 18+. But I also realize that such legislation takes some time to, shall we say "pan out" to every corner of the country. So that is my question. Should I be able to obtain EC at ANY local pharmacy?
(I'm sorry if this seems silly...my nerves are a bit frazzled with my friend and other issues at the moment...)
As far as I know, you SHOULD be able to, but it may not be a bad idea to phone ahead and make sure they have it in stock and will dispense it without prescriptions, if you feel that may not be the case where you are.
