Hi,

Just a quick question, i'm 17 and have been masturbating for years, but it has only occurred to me recently that i seem to hold my breath when i orgasm, obviously it has not had any affect on the feeling but i am just wondering if this is normal? or could it be harmful to my health?

Thanks.

Probably nothing to worry about. If you were holding your breath until you pass out, then you might want to avoid that, obviously. Or if holding your breath might put you at risk of passing out and falling or something, then you might want to try to remember to breathe. But otherwise, you're probably fine.
