Hello, I am looking for advice about when to start taking my pills again. I had been on them before but want to start again. My period started last night. When should I take the first pill?
Thanks for your help!

You can start taking the pill at anytime. Day 1 start instructions are to take the first pill within 24 hours of the start of your period, so you can go ahead and do that.

Since you've taken birth control pills before, they should be effective immediately if you start today, but it couldn't hurt to back up with condoms/abstain for up to a full cycle for peace of mind. [Smile]
