Hi. A few months ago, I had a UTI for a while, was treated, and it went away. Last night, I suddenly started getting the exact same symptoms that I'd had (the burning while peeing and having to pee frequently) but my school doesn't have any urgent care places that are open 24 hours so I was waiting till this morning to go. When I woke up, I felt completely fine. I used the bathroom and it was all normal. Could the burning have been from something else? I'm getting my period tomorrow, and I drank a ton of fluids yesterday.. could that have anything to do with it?

Thanks so much,

It's possible that you had a mild UTI just starting up, and all the fluids you drank yesterday just flushed it out. Just be mindful of the fact that you could still have a bit of an infection, and if the symptoms come back, head to the doctor.
