My boyfriend and I had sex on Saturday night. We used a condom, which we always do. normally, we follow the instructions exactly but he ejaculated and I did not realize it so I continued. He was not completely soft when I moved away. We talked about why we can't do this any more and it will not be a problem in the future...but I am concerned because my period should have started on Monday. It has not started yet (today is thursday). I did a pregnancy test on Tuesday and it was negative. I have my annual exam at the clinic next Tuesday night so I am going to ask about it then, but I am wondering how concerned I should be about this and how soon is too soon to do a test again.

Thanks!

Did the condom slip off when he was pulling out, or was it still on? If the condom didn't slip off, and there were no visible tears in it, it's unlikely you had a pregnancy risk.

Nope - didn't slip off and I held it in place as I moved away just to be careful. It stayed in place for a while after that, too. When we checked it after, neither of us saw any tears or rips.

thanks!
