I need to get on birth control but I've been seriously contemplating about which one I should take. I've taken the pill before [previous relationship] and it was a serious pain [daily takings and such]. I'm considering the patch for less stress but I've heard from a couple of people about deaths and such relating to it which is making me a bit shakey on which form of birth control I should consider.

Any opinions?

The Patch works EXACTLY like the birth control pill. Same hormones and everything.

If you do NOT have the following risk factors, you should be fine using the patch:
1. Smoking
2. Medical history of blood clots
3. Family history of blood clots or stroke
4. Severe depression, suicidal ideation
5. Over age 35
