For the last few days I've been having green stool. I was wondering what causes this. I've mostly been eating those mixed fruit cans with grapes and peaches and cherries and stuff like that, turkey sandwiches, and fruit grain bars. It still has the same form and I go about once a day or every other day. Is this a serious problem or is it related to the food I've been eating or what? Thanks

Well, you didn't list any actual green foods, but I know things like collard greens and spinach can make stools green. Still, I don't think you need to worry. Only if your stool is clay-colored, red or black should you be concerned. Clay colored stool can be a sign of heptitis or other liver dysfunction. Red or black stool can indicate internal bleeding, possible polyps or even cancer.
