i don't regret losing my virginity this year, at age 16, but i'm afraid of what my future boyfriends might think... am i obligated to tell them that i have had sex, even if i have had clear std screenings?

seeing as i go to a catholic high school, and the guy i want to date IS catholic, i'm afraid that this one little factor might scare him if we do potentially go out.

is this just another insecurity i should work on?

Well, I personally wouldn't start off the the relationship with "Hey, I've had a clear STI screening, do you want to go to a movie?", but it is important that you are honest with your future partners about your sexual past. By that, I don't mean you need to detail everything you did with your other partners, but you should let them know of any risks you may have had. However, if you have two clear STI screenings 6 months apart, you're not much of a risk to anyone else.
