Hi, I am 18 and I usually have my period at around 24-28 days has passed since the last period but it has been 36 days since my last period.

I am sexually active but I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago and it was negative.

Around the time I was supposed to have my period I got a new job and that did stress me out. Also I started taking generic Paxil instead of name brand Paxil.

I did read your article 'Dude Where's My Period?' But I still haven't had my period yet. So can it still be late?

Did I miss my period? I mean I am cramping like I normally would on my period and I do have PMS but no period!

I don't understand please help me.

Thanks

You could be about to get your period. If the pregnancy test came up negative, take another in a week ifyou still haven't gotten your period.

BTW, generic drugs' active ingredients are of exactly the same formulation as name brand ones, so they shouldn't do anything different to your body.
