You start on Sunday regardless of whether you still have your period or not. If you have a 28 day packed, you take all the pills and the start a new pack without skipping a day. If you have a 21 day pack then will have finished the pills on the Saturday. You will get your period sometime during the week and will not be taking pills for this time (7 days) and the you begin a fresh pack the following Sunday.

Your pills should come with instructions on it. Read them and keep them becuase they ahve information about how to take them and what to do if you skip any pills.

It is important to take them at approximately the same time each day and to take them each and every day you are rquired to take them. Always start a new pack on the day indicated (for you that would a Sunday. All of this will make sure the pill works properly and you do not ovulate.
