Today I have had a really bad sore throat, and my tonsils are HUGE and the back of my throat is really really red, and it looks like there are sores on my tonsils and the back of my throat.

Could this be an STD? I'm just scared it was from performing oral sex on my boyfriend, but I think I'm overreacting, but my mom is going to call the doctor's tommorrow.

it could be a number of things. but for a definite diagnosis, ask your doctor to do a throat culture (which involves using a long cotton swab to swipe off a little mucus and cells from the back of your throat) to identify the pathogen.

but till you go to the doctor, may i recommend warm broth and orange juice to soothe your throat.
