Original Post: Okay, I have read the Flow Charts concerning pregnancy, but I need a little clarification on something... When "touching your vulva or someone else's," does that mean actually fingers being inserted into you, or could you become pregnant if you had cum on your hands and then wiped yourself after using the bathroom? That was just confusing me. :-) Thanks for your help.
Reply: ahh sorry to be so confusing (I so wish we could post replies on here...) i was only wondering if it would be safe and everything to start the pill after me possibly getting cum in me, sorry again!
Well, there's a chance of pregnancy if sperm on your hands get in contact with your vulva. So, if you wiped yourself and sperm got onto your vulva, then yes, there is a chance of pregnancy.
Our Risk Flowcharts are a guide to your risk in various circumstances when sperm comes in contact with the vulva. So you're the only one who can really determine if you did things that could have possibly gotten sperm onto the vulva.
If it is possible that you are pregnant, do not start taking oral contraceptives yet. Get a home pregnancy test or wait for your period to start before taking the pill.
