First of all I would like to thank you Ash for giving me such good advice yesterday. But what do I do now? Should I talk to her about it or should I just wait and see what happens? I want to tell her how I feel, but I'm scared that something might go wrong. Please help.

Hrm...I would suggest becoming better friends with her first. Perhaps after a lacrosse game, you could suggest something casual like hanging out together or shopping or hang out some sort of activity. If you feel too nervous to do something alone with her, you could get a group of friends together and do something. It doesn't have to be a "date", just getting to know each other better.
If you still feel like she's the right one for you after getting to know her better, be straightforward with your feelings. It looks like she might like you too! Even if she's not interested in dating at the moment, you gals can still be friends.
