Okay I took the 72 hour pill last monday (about 50 hours after)becuz it slipped off when he was pulling out so me and him went just to be safe. They said some of the side effects were getting you period a week or 2 early, spotting a couple of days after taking it, naseua...ect.. well on saturday i either got my period or spotting.. i still have it, its been heavy-medium flow... how do i know if its spotting from a pregnancy or the pill, or if its my period? What are some of the differences?

In all honesty, if your period came at its *normal* time (or close to it, if you aren't the most "regular" person), I'm pretty positive that there would not be any real way of knowing if you were indeed pregnant or not. A fertilized egg is microscopic, and there would be no real effects of note if that egg was just fertilized hours before.

By all means, if you have questions about the blood flow, or the morning after pill, in general, just make a call to your healthcare provider, and they will be happy to answer your questions.
