i've only had sex a few times and everytime it is extrememly painful. i've thought about the cause being many different things but i think i've come to the conclusion that my hymen just isn't tearing because when i look in the mirror it looks completely intact. i was wondering if there is something i can do (besides surgery) to make it break easier, or if there is no other option, can you give me some details on the surgery or a website with a description about it?

The best advice I can give you is to consult your physician/gynocologist. She/he will know what to look for and will be able to tell you whether your hymen is the problem, or whether it's something else and be able to suggest the best course of action to solve the problem. If you're sexually active, it's important for you to have regular gyn exams anyway, so this is something you can address with them.

Additionally, using an extra water-based, condom-safe lubricant can help make things more comfortable. Also, just try relaxing and don't let yourself think "it's going to hurt!" If you're worrying about it hurting, chances are it's going to.
