If teenagers are tested for STD's is there a doctor patient confidental policy? Or will the doctor have to contact the parents? Also what clinics are best to go to for testing?
The reason why I am asking is because a friend of a friend of mine is thinking she might have contracted something from her boyfriend and she is afraid to go get checked because she thinks the doctor will contact her parents.

I think that your friend should either try calling the doctor that she wants to go or find information about Planned Parenthood...the people who will provide you with medical services can tell you exactly what you want to know, hm?
