hi!

i am currently on the pill and am going on holiday in 3 weeks for five days with my boyfriend!! unfortunately for me i am due to get my period on those very five days which i am away for (damn!)

is it possible to postpone or have my period a week earlier so i dont have to put up with the tummyaches and stuff whilst on holiday? or do i have to keep the cycle going and not alter it?

please help anyone!

Generally, contraceptive pills have an instruction leaflet included which should let you know (if at all) how to schedule your period. You should dig this out and have a read through.

It is possible, but it really depends on which pill you are taking and how long you've been on it. Usually it just means skipping the inactive (period) pills and going straight on to your new packet.

The instructions should give you all the information you need to know
