Hi there! At my college, we have a uni-sex bathroom. Sure, it's interesting but nothing scary. The other day when I went to use it, there was a girl at one of the guy urinals (in a discreet corner of the room far from the door) who was peeing standing up! I couldn't believe it! She had her fly open in the front and the stream was coming from there. Respecting her privacy, I didn't say anything and proceded to a closed stall.
My question is whether or not this is safe and how it is possible. I told one of my girl friends and she wants to now try it. What should I tell her? Any advice would be cool.

Some of the dorms at my college have unisex bathrooms. When I figured this out, it scared the bejesus outta me (i lived in a 4-girl suite, so i only shared my washroom with women).

Anyway, it's not harmful in any way to pee standing up. for a girl, it may require some practice, though. if she wants to try it, tell her she has to be fair and clean up her mess.

If you're squatting,
Be a sweetie
Don't leave a mess,
Wipe the seatie

words to live by if you ever use a public loo.

Have you ever tried it? If so, any tips that I could pass along to my friend.
BTW, liked your little reminder.

This may be getting a little off-topic, since this has nothing to do with sex basics or sexual health.

However, your friend can always check out websites such as this one:
