So quick question- I've developed a few red bumps on the inside of my thighs. To preface, I went running for about 2 hours yesterday and it was extremely hot out, so I think it might be a heat rash but I just wanted to ask.
Its on the exact same spot on both of my legs- right where my thighs rub against each other when I'm running.
My mom told me to put some hydrocortisone cream on it and it would be better soon.
It doesnt itch or anything, its just a little sore when i touch it or walk around and my thighs touch.
Sounds like a heat rash. I get them as well, and the doctor recommended (for me, not necessarily for everyone..) talc powder (unscented) or corn starch, and any soothing cream I wanted to use. As long as it goes away in a few days, I wouldn't worry.
This is a bit late, but if you happen across this again, it sounds like chafing, which many runners (myself at times included) get. I recommend spandex that cover the area that's being chafed, it works for me at least. Also it happens in hotter weather I've noticed.
