I was in a yoga class a while ago, and my teacher told me I had tight hips. If I'm sitting upright on the floor, I can't stretch my legs straight out in front of me, much less touch my toes. Are there certain strecthes I can use to improve my flexibility? Thanks [Smile]

You just keep stretching over time, basically. As well, with what you're describing, that may not even be about your hips so much as your spine or hamstrings.

With hip flexibility, we're not usually talking about forward stretches or folds, but things like butterfly stretches -- sitting with the bottoms of your feet togather and then leaning forward.
