Ok, for the past 3 weeks or so, I have been farting *alooooot*. I mean, alot alot. I've been bloated to the point of feeling uncomfortable, constipated, and honestly farting pretty big farts usually twice an hour at the least.
Ah, its driving me insane, and I don't think my roommate appreciates it haha. What's causing it, and what can I change to make it go away?

First things first, what kinds of foods have you been eating lately? Have you been eating a lot of unhealthy foods? Second, have you been under a lot of stress lately? The school year is winding down in a lot of places and unfinished projects can certainly be adding to your stress level. Third, have you started any new medications recently? Some medications will have a side effect of gas and bloating.
If it's bothering your roommate, the simple thing to do would be to excuse yourself to the bathroom or outside the room. Gas is a natural occurrence, definitely, and not something to be ashamed of, but it's also not something a lot of people want to smell. (You don't see Yankee Candle Company selling too many fart scented candles, now do you? )

Gas-x and Pepto Bismol (or their generic counterparts) work miracles for me. It's probably caused by a crappy diet. When I don't eat right I get all the same symptoms. I know how much of a pain it is and how embarassing it can be.
