Will the fairly sparing (1-2 times a day) use of pressed powder (even if marked non-comedogenic) and concealer result in more breakouts? If not, any brand suggestions? If so, any (cheap, easy) alternatives? Thanks a lot.

This really varies depending on the person- some people find a brand awesome and never break out, while others can find the same brand gives them acne from hell.

We don't really encourage discussions on cosmetics here, so honestly, if you're super concerned, you could always ask a dermatologist, or one of the people working at the makeup counter wherever you shop for tips. Or, you could check out this link for online product reviews: http://www.makeupalley.com/product/ [Smile]

As a make-up artist, no it doesnt matter how many times you apply it. It is how you take it off to stop any spots!

Always use remover and then cleanse, tone and moisturise
