Hello. I'm new here. The site was really helpful, by the way. I was actually looking for a place just like Scarleteen, and lo and behold, I found it! Aye, ask Jeeves and ye shall recieve. Ahem. Anyway, I gleaned from the forum description, hopefully correctly, that this was the section to talk about ourselves, correct? I should hope so. Well, not much to tell. I'm 14 going on 15, (January Third!) and I'm a lesbian. I've come out to my good friends, but I'm still working on the parental bit. I'm going to tell them soon, but more on that in a different forum. I have a generally positive outlook on life, and have a blissfully unrealistic crush on a girl at my school. I do a lot of roleplaying, both online, and in "real life" through tabletop and console gaming. I love fruit. I am currently growing a small potted pineapple in my backyard, (I really should take it in for the winter) and I am trying to get a volunteer position at the Humane Society near my house, as well as looking into zoo volunteer options. I cannot live without music and literature, and often daydream in class. Do not sit next to me when: It's halfway through 6th period, I am bored out of my mind, and have a pen in my hand. I've been known to unconciously doodle on my friends when this situation occurs. I have a scar on my back from a shuriken that a childhood friend was a little off-target with. (We really weren't supposed to be playing with them. 9 Stitches, ouch!) I currently embarrass two cats and a dog, all of whom only put up with me because they find me amusing. Well, hi! I'm glad to be here. I guess I'll use this as a sort of journal. Please, introduce yourself, it'll be good to know who people are! ^_^
