I just had got the depo and the first day I start spotting is that normal should I be worried and why diid I spot?

As your healthcare provider hopefully explained to you, spotting or unexplained bleeding is one of the most common side effects of any progestin-only method, including Depo.
So, unless you think the spotting is related to something else -- which it likely isn't if you just had a repro health exam when getting this AND didn't have it before -- I don't see a cause for concern.
