If you haven't yet, this is obviously moot, but if you have, how did you learn? How have you kept learning to get better and better at using them properly?

If there's anything, what do you feel like you still need help with when it comes to using them that you haven't gotten yet?

Well I never really practised before I had sex, so my first few times consisted of watching my boyfriend doing it and occasionally helping [Razz] I was always afraid I'd hurt him. After a while, I used an empty deodorant can for practise, just so I wouldn't freak out next time, and it helped a little to get a technique. I think I'm still learning, because it's different from person to person in terms of whether they automatically expect to use one or not, how much experience we've had, etc. As long as you talk through it, it works [Smile]

I actually remember learning this really well. My ex-boyfriend (and the first guy I had intercourse with) actually showed me how a couple of weeks after we started having sex. We had been talking a few days earlier and I mentioned I didn't really know how to put them on correctly. So surprise to me the next time we were going to have sex he handed me the condom and told me it was my turn. I mentioned again that I didn't know how and he just whispered that we'd put it on together. I was also worried I'd hurt him, but he helped me and after a couple times I knew what I was doing and wasn't worried anymore. He even knew about using lubricant with them even though my sex ed classes later never mentioned it. I learned more with different partners as well, but have also done my share of teaching condom safety and use with others.
