Is it possible? I mean, is it advisable? I've heard of people using olive oil (and other things) which thus far I have only used for cooking.

I think that the main problem with using oils is that they are likely to break down latex barriers such as condoms, compared to water-based lubricants. Also if you're using products inside your vulva which are not intended for internal use, you may end up with allergic reactions or infections such as yeast.

It will break latex condoms, but is fine to use with female condoms or latex-free ones; 100% natural coconut oil. I *think* it's vulva safe but I'm not 100% sure on that.
