on friday night, i accidentally took my saturday pill. then on saturday, i realised and took the friday one. will this affect my birth control or am i alright? i take my pills at the same time every day and never miss one because it's my only form of birth control.

It depends what kind of birth control you are on. If you are on a monophasic pill, then it doesn't make a different which order you take the pills in. However, if you are on a tri-phasic pill, it may make a difference. To figure that out, you'll want to consult the insert that came with your pills, or call your pharmacy and check.

Yasmin is a monophasic pill. But, again, this information is also on the patient information sheet that came with the pill: it's a good idea to read through that to understand how the pill works, how you need to take it, and what to do if you make a mistake.
