I started to take my pill again a couple of weeks after my period had finished. Does this mean I can still get pregnant even though I'm on the pill now?

If you started the pill in the middle of a cycle -- rather than on the first day of your period, or no later than the first Sunday after it -- then you will need to use a backup method of birth control for that whole first pill pack if you want effective protection from unwanted pregnancy.

However, starting with the next pill pack, so long as you take your pills properly and on time, you will have the full effectiveness of your pill.
