Today I went on a frantic search trying to find sea sponges...of course it was almost 7 when the idea of buying some came to me and frankly, even on a Monday, it's hard to come across some place to find something like this, especially when you don't even know where you're looking. I started at the mall, and came across to health stores. The first looked like a body builders paradise and I left that pretty quick, and the second, looked promising, and I even saw natracare products, but when I asked the clerk she told me they had stopped selling them a few years ago, and she didn't know where I could get them.

I zoomed up and down portage but didn't really see any other stores that looked remotly promising.

Does anyone know of any chains that might carry this type of product? Should I just keep up my search for sea sponges all around town and various health stores?

I would prefer to use them for camp, because being extremely regular, my last 4 days I know i'll be on my period, and I'm not really excited about dealing with that, while i have a cabin full of kids to take care of as well.

Please and Thanks!

(Been a lllooonngg time since a knew topic came up in here, eh?)

Will an online source do? has sea sponges, as well as lots of other alternative menstrual products (and secure online ordering).

Cost Plus Imports tends to carry sea sponges. I have also seen them at bath specialty stores, although you are more likely to pay through the nose.

Art stores also carry them, because they are great for working with clay.
