I have never been soooo moody, soo off the wall, sooo bitchy, sooo mean, or sooo unhappy in my entire life. I cry all of the time, nothing helps. I'm either extremely pissed/psycho or crying my eyes out. If you knew me.. you would know that this isn't me. I am the happiest most easy going girl in the entire world. I haven't been this way until I started taking birth control. At first I was on Yazmin, and it was extremely bad... so I had them switch me to Ortho-tricyclen lo. At first it was kind of better... but now it's doing the same thing to me. It's ruining my relationships, my life, my job, everything. I hate this ****. it's lead me into depression. I can't control my emotions, or my life. I'm miserable. I was wondering if anyone had any similar problems with this... or if you have any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch.

If the hormonal birth control is affecting you this badly, I'd recommend, first thing first, call your gynecologist or doctor and let them know you'd like to just STOP taking hormonal birth control pills entirely, because since it's persisted, it's not likely to help if you just jump around a bunch of different brands.

If you're using the birth control pills to prevent pregnancy, for the meantime, condoms are highly effective on their own when used correctly, and you may be able to speak to your gynecologist or doctor about trying an additional non-hormonal method, or what other options you may have that will work for you, and not be affecting your emotional well being as much as the pills seem to be.

If the problems persist after stopping the birth control pills, then you'll want to go back to your doctor and go from there, but it's likely since you know this wasn't how you acted or felt normally at all before the pills, they could be playing a big, or even the whole part.
