I've never really thought about this before, but the question just struck me this morning (I feel a bit foolish even typing it). I know that if medication is stored in an area that is too warm, it can affect the medication. I don't have air conditioning (which is pretty depressing), though we do keep fans going pretty much constantly. This shouldn't really affect my bcp, right How hot is too hot? Do I really have anything to worry about?

There should be an insert that came with your pills that has this sort of information on it. The most important thing is to keep the pills away from direct sources of moisture and heat. Otherwise, you're probably fine. (Think about it: plenty of us don't have AC, and for those that are taking BCP's, if the pills were too finicky about storage temp, we'd be in big trouble!)

That's what I figured. I think that not having ac is much more harmful to me than do my pills. Thanks!
