I'm a frequent poster here and I just wanted to say thank you for everything you guys have done for me!
Anyway, I wanted to know if there was any way for my mom to find out if I was on BC pills. She has a copy of my medical card. Is it possible for her to ask the Pharmacy or my doctor what I'm taking? I'm concerned that if I ask for a refill that she'll somehow find out.
I'm also really sick right now and my doctor gave me cough medicine. Will this affect the effectiveness of the pill in the long run?

Cough meds won't interfere with the pill, and no your mom can't go ask the pharmacist what meds you're on. In CA, anybody over the age of 12 can consent to his/her own sexual health care including birth control, STD screens and abortions without parental notification or consent.
