Two days ago, I had an IUD inserted. My doctor told me I would feel crampy for a few days to a week afterward. I'm having very light, menstrual-like cramps with very little pain.
I do have a question, though. Even before the IUD, my boyfriend would bump against my cervix during certain sexual positions or more vigorous sex. Now that I have the IUD, could him bumping against my cervix push against the IUD and cause it to perforate the uterus? I'd think that it wouldn't, but I'm not entirely sure, and I forgot to ask my gynecologist before I left.
