Earlier today I had to use the washroom. I went and did #2 and it came out mixed with blood. That has never happened before. I am 2 weeks on Yasmin and that should not be one of the side effects. Isnt breakthrough bleeding supposed to happen through the vagina? What could this be?

Have you perhaps been constipated lately?

Sometimes, bowel straining can result in some bleeding.

No, I havent been constapated at all. I usually #2 like once a day without a problem. Im kind of concerned cuz this has never happened.

Then I'd suggest seeing your doctor, especially if you have engaged in anything that could have caused any sort of bowel or anal injury or infection.

This, for the record, is likely unrelated to your birth control.
