If anyone on here uses an IUD as a birth control method could you give me some advice as to weather or not i should be using a back up plan because i just gave birth two months ago and i dont really need another child right now but i dont know as to weather or not i should be using a back up birth control method as well

You don't need to be using a backup method: IUDs are very effective.

However, if you and your partner have not been monogamous for at least six months, practicing safer sex for at least six months AND both do NOT have at least two clear STI screens, you will want to continue to practice safer sex, including using condoms for intercourse.
