what kind of condom do you recommend? yes, i want it to feel good, but i'm more worried about protection than anything.

if i buy condoms w/ spermicide and lubricant w/ spermicide....does that offer more protection?

Generally, we've found that Trojan brand condoms tend to break more than others, so we don't really recommend those. I'm a fan of Durex and Lifestyles, others here love Kimono brand.

Spermicide is really a bad idea. Why? It honestly doesn't offer much in the way of sperm-zapping (it would only kill a small portion of the sperm) and it's basically dish detergent. Now, let's be honest: would you want dish detergent in your genitals? I really don't, it sounds uncomfy. Also, since it can cause irritation, spermicide can up your risk for STDs.

Your best bet is really just regular condoms (or lubricated, which I prefer--you still need the extra lube, though) and a bottle of water-based lubricant (astroglide, silk, wet, etc.)
